Hello all, I am a Licensed Professional counselor based in Lake Ozark, MO. I am committed to helping those struggling with trauma, anxiety, and/or depression. I specialize in trauma-focused therapy. Most of my work has focused on childhood abuse, neglect, and attachment issues. My therapeutic style is genuine and warm, with a healthy dose of humor. I am supportive and encourage those I work with by empowering them in the healing process. My approach is flexible but utilizes person-centered approaches and honors the individual as the expert of their own life. I believe that much like the body; the mind naturally moves toward healing. This is done within the context of a therapeutic relationship. Seeking support can be overwhelming and sometimes scary but often quite rewarding. You’ll never know if you don’t try. Since starting my practice, things have grown, and I am currently supervising two provisionally licensed professional counselors as well.
